Laboratory Services
The Department operates two service laboratories that will be useful for graduate student research needs.
The Environmental and Agricultural Testing Service (EATS) Lab provides routine testing services for a variety of sample matrices including plant tissue, solids, solid wastes, liquid extracts, water and wastewater. See the EATS site for a listing of instrumentation and costs.
The Soil Physical Properties Lab performs particle size analysis, saturated hydraulic conductivity, and water retention analysis of soil. A listing of costs and a sample submission form are on the website.
