Get Involved

As a graduate student, you have many opportunities to participate in activities and student governance.  Below you will find a number of resources of interest.

NC State Graduate Student Association

The NC State Graduate Student Association (GSA) is a student-led group that represents and acts on behalf of all Graduate Students at North Carolina State University to improve the satisfaction and scholarship of our members during their time here. The GSA serves Graduate Students by participating in student government, appointing students to university standing committees, and developing internal programs to assist graduate students with research and funding.

The GSA provides travel awards for attending meetings, graduate teaching awards, events, and opportunities to participate in student governance.

Crop and Soil Science Graduate Student Association

The Crop and Soil Science Graduate Student Association (CSSGSA) functions to provide a voice in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences for graduate student concerns. At this time, the CSSGSA is not officially registered on the NC State Campus.  Please check back soon for more details. A separate site will be developed for this organization.
